Borlotti Beans

Directions

1. Remove the borlotti beans from their pods and add them to a pan along with the bay leaves and crushed garlic clove. Cover entirely with water and turn the heat to medium. 2. Cook with the lid, but leave a little opening, cook for about 40mins. 3. Every now and then, check and add more water if necessary. 4. When the beans are tender, salt beans to your own taste.

Such an amazing project which results in amazing veg to feed us throughout the week ! It has also introduced us to veg we might otherwise not have tried and love them now. And it's all local and chemical free! Cannot recommend it enough :)
