Celeriac Mash

Ingredients

3 large potatoes, peeled, coarsely chopped
1 large celeriac, trimmed, peeled, coarsely chopped
1 garlic clove, peeled
80ml (1/3 cup) pouring cream
50g butter, chopped
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Pinch of white pepper

Directions

Place the potato, celeriac and garlic in a large saucepan. Cover with cold water. Bring to the boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Drain and return to the pan.

Use a potato masher to mash until smooth. Add the cream, butter and nutmeg, and mash until combined. Taste and season with salt and white pepper to serve.

Such an amazing project which results in amazing veg to feed us throughout the week ! It has also introduced us to veg we might otherwise not have tried and love them now. And it's all local and chemical free! Cannot recommend it enough :)
